Active Shooter Reported At Fort Stewart In Georgia

Georgia's Fort Stewart is on lockdown due to an active shooter situation.

The Army base says multiple casualties have been reported and the situation is ongoing.

Law enforcement officials report four people have been taken to the hospital and a suspect has been identified.

Fifteen-thousand are stationed at the base.

Fort Stewart is located about 40 miles southwest of Savannah.

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp said he is in close contact with law enforcement on the ground.
