LINK: Bark At The Park Saturday At Marlins Park

You can celebrate the dog days of summer with the boys of summer and your favorite pooch this Saturday afternoon at Bark at the Park.

"As long as your dog enjoys being around people/crowds/other dogs, I think they'd be great.  If your dog gets nervous in those situations, it's probably best that they stay at home," says Humane Society of Broward County's Cherie Wachter.

Fish fans and their fur friends will be sitting together in a reserved portion of the Vista Level.

Human tickets for the Marlins/Phillies 4:10 game go for $16 with K-9 companion tickets being $10.

Part of the dog ticket proceeds will go to the shelter.

There will be no Bark at the Park tickets sold at the gate, so you have to buy them in advance online.

Wachter says before you come, make sure your dog has its valid rabies tag on a collar with a four to six foot long leash.  You will also be prompted to sign a release when you buy your tickets.  She suggests bringing it with you to the park.
