Hank Williams Jr. dropped out of upcoming performances âdue to illness,â per a statement shared to the country legendâs Instagram account on Wednesday afternoon (August 20).
Williams Jr., 76, was scheduled to perform on Friday (August 22) at BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and on Saturday (August 23) at Lucas Oil Live at WinStar World Casino & Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma. Those shows will now take place on Friday, September 19, and Saturday, September 20, respectively. His next performance is set for August 27 at the Minnesota State Fair with Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, his website shows.
âWeâre so sorry to share that due to illness, Hank Williams Jr. will be unable to perform the shows scheduled for this weekend in Tulsa and Thackerville, OK,â Williams Jr.âs statement reads. âThese dates will be rescheduled for later next month, and all tickets will be honored for the new dates.
