Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez Hosts Town Hall On Beach & Hotels Reopening

A virtual Town Hall on tap today in Miami-Dade ahead of Monday's reopening of beaches and hotels. Add face masks to the list of things you will need to be beach ready. Everyone must have a mask on hand, but you can take it off for swimming and exercising. Sunbathing is allowed, but social distancing of 6 feet or more is required and groups are limited to 10 or fewer people. Police and or beach ambassadors will be on hand to enforce all the new normal rules and regulations. Mayor Carlos Gimenez says their goal is to educate the public before any fines are issued. Hotels can have 100-percent occupancy rates, but no more than 50-percent in restaurants or common areas.
