COVID-19 Means 30 More Days to Renew Florida Driver License

TALLAHASSEE -- Thanks to an emergency order from the governor, your expiring Florida driver's license has an extra 30 days of life.

The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles says all licenses and ID cards set to expire in the next 30 days (between March 16th and April 15th) have been extended because of COVID-19. Delinquent fees are waived.

FLHSMV also encourages those who are eligible to renew online to do that, using GoRenew.com
